Il Concorso ha lo scopo di promuovere la cultura musicale favorendo l'affermazione artistica di giovani talenti provenienti da tutto il mondo, accrescendo il desiderio di scambio culturale, artistico e sociale

REGOLAMENTO
 
Art. 1 
La partecipazione al concorso è aperta ai musicisti di tutte le nazionalità.
 
Anche quest'anno il Concorso Internazionale di Musica Amigdala - memorial "G. Raciti" di Aci Bonaccorsi, mantiene il suo ampio respiro internazionale grazie alle selezioni che saranno effettuate presso: Hong Kong e Giappone. 
I candidati residenti in questi paesi, che avranno superato la selezione aggiudicandosi il 1°, 2° e 3° premio, parteciperanno al nostro concorso che si svolgerà dal 4 al 12 Maggio 2019.
 
 

Amigdala International Music Competition fa parte dei "Festival accreditati" a ELENA COBB STAR PRIZE. I vincitori della sezione 13 avranno la possibilità di esibirsi a FESTIVAL ELENA COBB STAR PRIZE presso la ROYAL ALBERT HALL di LONDRA, nell'Aprile del 2020...clicca qui - iscrizione

La sezione 6, indirizzata a tutte le formazioni, è suddivisa nelle seguenti categorie (ci si riferisce all'età media del gruppo):

Cat. B nati da01/01/1992 programma libero max 15 min. - quota € 40,00 per ogni componente

I gruppi con un numero maggiore di 30 componenti pagheranno € 300,00
 
I gruppi verseranno la quota in unica soluzione
 

La sezione 8 è suddivisa nelle seguenti categorie:
Cat. A una composizione per strumento solo della durata di ca 10 min. - quota € 75,00
Cat. B una composizione per musica da camera della durata di ca 10 min. - quota € 75,00
Cat. C una composizione per orchestra o coro della durata ca 10 min. - quota € 75,00
Le composizioni, in formato PDF oppure in cartaceo, dovranno pervenire alla segreteria del concorso entro il 20 Aprile 2019
 

La sezione 10 è suddivisa nelle seguenti categorie :
cat.A : voci Junior (voci bianche) programma libero max 10 min. - quota € 50,00
cat.B: nati dal 01/01/1993 programma libero di max 15 min. - quota € 70,00
cat.C: senza limiti d'età, programma libero di max 20 min. comprendente due arie da camera di di cui 1 di autore italiano - quota € 75,00
Per tutte le categorie della sez. 10 la commissione ha facoltà di scegliere parte del programma.

La sezione 12 è suddivisa nelle seguenti categorie :
cat.A : solisti programma libero max 20 min. - quota € 60,00
cat.B: gruppi programma libero max 20 min. - quota € 40,00 a componente
I gruppi superiori a 10 elementi verseranno una quota di € 35,00 a componente
 
I gruppi verseranno la quota in unica soluzione
 
 

La sezione 13 è suddivisa nelle seguenti categorie:
cat. Pulcini: nati dal 01/01/2013 quota € 40,00 esecuzione di 1 brano tra quelli quiindicati 
cat. A: nati dal 01/01/2009 quota € 45,00 esecuzione di 1 brano tra quelli qui indicati 
cat. B: nati dal 01/01/2006 quota € 50,00 esecuzione di 1 brano tra quelli qui indicati 
cat. C: nati dal 01/01/2003 quota € 55,00 esecuzione di 1 brano tra quelli qui indicati 
 
 

Pianista accompagnatore
I concorrenti delle sezioni 2, 3, 9 e 10 dovranno provvedere, ove fosse necessario, al proprio pianista accompagnatore. Per coloro che ne avessero necessità, la direzione del concorso mette a disposizione un pianista accompagnatore; chi intende avvalersi di tale opportunità dovrà indicarlo nella scheda d'iscrizione, allegare una copia della parte pianistica e versare le seguenti quote supplementari all'atto dell'iscrizione indicando nella causale "supplemento quota accompagnamento"

Chi volesse fruire di un Pianoforte digitale in esclusiva presso il proprio alloggio, dovrà richiederlo all'atto dell'iscrizione e versare all'arrivo, in segreteria, una quota corrispondente a 20 euro al giorno.
 
La quota d'iscrizione potrà essere rimborsata 
solo in caso di annullamento del concorso
 
 

Art. 4
ISCRIZIONE
I concorrenti dovranno far pervenire le iscrizioni scegliendo fra le seguenti modalità:
1)      on-line:
compilando il modulo d'iscrizione elettronico. 
Saranno richiesti i seguenti allegati: documento di identità, ricevuta di pagamento tramite bonifico, partitura (solo per chi richiede l'accompagnatore e per i candidati della sez. 8)

Saranno accettate le richieste pervenute entro

I concorrenti, al loro arrivo nella sede del Concorso, dovranno esibire un documento di riconoscimento alla segretaria e, al momento della prova, consegneranno 2 copie delle partiture da eseguire alla commissione.
Sarà possibile partecipare a più categorie e sezioni versando le relative quote.
 
 
 
La quota d'iscrizione potrà essere rimborsata 
solo in caso di annullamento del concorso

    Art. 5
I concorrenti, al loro arrivo nella sede del Concorso, dovranno esibire un documento di riconoscimento alla segretaria e, al momento della prova, consegneranno alla commissione 
2 copie delle partiture da eseguire 
 
 

                                                               Art. 6
Tutti i concorrenti potranno partecipare a più sezioni e a più categorie pagando le relative quote di partecipazione. 
 
 

Art. 7
I brani da eseguire dovranno essere originali (non facilitati). 
Il concorrente ha facoltà di suonare per un minutaggio inferiore a quello richiesto. 
Inoltre, la commissione, a sua discrezione, può interrompere l'esecuzione di brani che superino la durata richiesta.
 
 

Art. 8
La commissione, di profilo internazionale, è composta da docenti di Conservatori e Istituti Musicali, da musicisti di chiara fama appartenenti a vario titolo al mondo musicale, nonché dal Presidente dell'Associazione Culturale Amigdala e dal Direttore artistico del concorso.
I componenti della commissione devono astenersi dalla votazione in caso di parentela e/o rapporti didattici in atto o intercorsi nei due anni precedenti il concorso.?
In relazione a quanto sopra stabilito, all'atto dell'insediamento, ciascun componente della commissione rilascia una dichiarazione sulla propria situazione personale nei confronti dei concorrenti. ?
E' facoltà della commissione riascoltare i concorrenti. ?
Le decisioni della commissione giudicatrice sono insindacabili, inappellabili e definitive. 
Il giudizio deve essere espresso al termine di ogni Categoria. 
I commissari esprimono il voto in centesimi. 
Il risultato definitivo sarà calcolato facendo la media aritmetica dei voti espressi.

Il "comitato premi", composto dal Presidente dell'Associazione e dal Direttore Artistico, decide l'assegnazione dei Premi Speciali a conclusione dei lavori ed eventualmente dopo il concerto del Gala Conclusivo. ?
Qualora le esecuzioni non dovessero raggiungere un adeguato livello artistico, può non assegnare i premi. ?
Il comitato, inoltre, stabilirà il programma della serata finale considerando i tempi d'esecuzione dei brani scelti, includendo solo in parte i candidati finalisti.

Art. 9
I candidati si presenteranno in ordine alfabetico secondo il calendario definitivo che sarà reso noto il 27 Aprile 2019 su: www.amigdalainternationalcompetition.it

?I candidati già iscritti, al momento dell'eventuale cambiamento del calendario, saranno avvertiti tramite e-mail.
 
 

Art. 10
I concorrenti autorizzano la diffusione di riprese fotografiche, radiofoniche e televisive e le registrazioni discografiche del concorso. 
I partecipanti non potranno avanzare pretese finanziarie nei confronti dell'organizzazione e degli organi trasmittenti. ?
Qualora non si intendesse autorizzare la diffusione, si dovrà fare esplicita richiesta all'atto dell'iscrizione
 
 

Art. 11
Si considerano primi premi assoluti coloro i quali riporteranno una valutazione di 100/100
Si considerano primi classificati coloro i quali riporteranno una valutazione da 95 a 99
Si considerano secondi classificati coloro i quali riporteranno una valutazione da 90 a 94
Si considerano terzi classificati coloro i quali riporteranno una valutazione da 85 a 89
Si considerano quarti classificati coloro i quali riporteranno una valutazione da 80 a 84
 
A tutti i partecipanti al concorso sarà consegnato l'attestato di partecipazione
Ai candidati premiati sarà consegnato il Diploma.
Ai candidati premiati con 100/100 sarà consegnata la borsa di studio, il Diploma e la Coppa o la Targa nel corso del Gala Conclusivo.

Tutti i primi premi assoluti dovranno presentarsi alla serata finale per la consegna del premio.

I premiati scelti per l'esecuzione al Gala avranno l'obbligo di esibizione, pena l'annullamento del premio. 
Inoltre, gli stessi, non potranno vantare alcuna pretesa economica per la suddetta esecuzione e per eventuali "concerti premio".
Nel rispetto della musica e della commissione, i candidati sono invitati a presentarsi alle prove e al Gala Conclusivo con abbigliamento adeguato.
 
 

L'Associazione non è responsabile di Incidenti a persone e/o cose né durante il viaggio né per tutta la durata del concorso.

L'Associazione Amigdala si riserva il diritto di attuare modifiche al regolamento.
L'iscrizione al Concorso implica l'accettazione di tutte le norme contenute nel regolamento.
 
 

Art. 12
La manifestazione non rientra nel novero dei concorsi e delle operazioni a premio, ai sensi dell'art. 6 comma 1 del DPR 430/2001. Pertanto, ai sensi della Risoluzione n. 8/1251 del 28/10/1976, i premi non verranno assoggettati a ritenuta alla fonte. Resta pertanto a carico del percettore del premio l'obbligo di comprendere il valore del riconoscimento e le somme complessive a tale titolo conseguite nella propria dichiarazione annuale ai fini della determinazione del reddito."

RULES
 
The Cultural Association Amigdala is a no profit organization dedicated to the discovery of talented musicians from around the world through competitions and other performing opportunities.
We hope to promote a musical culture in the area and increase the desire for a social, cultural and artistic exchange.
 
 
 
Art. 1 
The Competition is open to all musicians from all nationalities.
 
Also this year the International Music Competition Amigdala Memorial G.Raciti in Aci Bonaccorsi takes on a wider international spirit thanks to the selections that will be held in the partner Chinese region of Hong Kong and Japan.
 
Competitors who reside in these countries and who will pass the selection by winning the 1st and 2nd and 3rd prizes (all over 85/100 marks ) will be admitted to the Amigdala International Music Competition which will take place from 4th to 6th May 2019 in ITALY. 
 
They must send the registration fee and the registration form in accordance with IX Amigdala International Music Competition Memorial Raciti rules.
 
 
 

Amigdala International Music Competition is part of the "Accredited Festivals" at ELENA COBB STAR PRIZE.
The winners of the categories of section 13 will have the opportunity to perform at the FESTIVAL ELENA COBB STAR PRIZE at the ROYAL ALBERT HALL in LONDON, in April 2020.

Section 7 is divided into the following categories :
Cat.A : born from 01/01/2003 free program max 20 min. fee € 10.00 each one ( to be paid in a single payment)
Cat.B : no age limit free program max 30 min. Fee € 13,00 each one ( to be paid in a single payment)
Groups with more than 30 musicians will pay € 300,00( to be paid in a single solution)
 
 

Section 8 is divided into the following categories:
Cat. A: composition for solo instrument lasting max 10 min. Fee € 75.00
Cat. B: composition for chamber music lasting max 10 min. Fee € 75.00
Cat.C : composition for orchestra lasting max 10 min. Fee € 75.00
 
The compositions, in PDF format or in hard copy, must be sent to the secretariat of the competition by April 20th, 2019
 
 

Section 10 is divided into the following categories:
Cat. A: Children voices free program max 10 min. Fee € 50.00
Cat. B: born from 01/01/1993 ; free program max 15min. - Fee € 70.00

Groups with more than 10 musicians will pay € 35.00 each one ( to be paid in a single payment)

Competitors in sections 2, 3, 9, 10 will provide for their own accompanist, if required. If you are unable to find an accompanist we may provide one to you, but we need to know about this in advance. Please indicate this on the registration form, attach a copy of the piano score and pay the following additional fee:

€30,00 for the Sections 2,3,9 Cat. B-C- Section 10 Cat.A

If you want to enjoy a digital piano exclusively at your accommodation, you will have to apply for it at the time of your registration and pay a fee of EUR 20 per day at your desk.
 
The registration fee will be refunded only in case of cancellation of the competition

Art. 6
All competitors may participate in more sections and categories by paying the relative participation fee.
 
 

Art. 7
The pieces to be performed must be original (no transpositions or arrangements of the composer's original work are allowed). The competitor can play for fewer minutes than those required. The performance could be stopped by the Committee if the competitor exceeds the required time.
 
 

Art. 8
The jury is made up of teachers from Conservatories and Music Schools, well-known musicians, differently qualified, the Chairwoman of the Cultural Association "Amigdala" and the Artistic Director of the AmigdalaMusicTalent Section.
The members of the jury shall abstain from voting in case of kinship and/or having didactic relationship with the competitor either currently or taken place in the two year prior to the competition. 
In relation to the above, on the occasion of their settlement, each member of the jury issues a statement on his/her personal situation in relation to the competitors.
The score will be expressed at the end of each Category. Each judge will evaluate the competitors and will assign a score in cents. 
The scores from all judges will then be averaged to determine the final score. Please note that the decision of the judges is unquestionable. 
In case of ex aequo in a category, the jury may share the prize equally. 
All awards and prizes will be awarded unless there is an insufficient number of eligible participants in a particular category or the judges determine that the quality of the competitor's performance does not warrant a prize/award. 
Prizes and awards are non transferable. 
Cash awards are paid in euros, currency conversions to local currency are at winner's expense at the time of conversion. 
All federal, state, provincial, autonomous, local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners. The jury has the right to listen to the executions of the competitors again.
The jury will draw up the program of the final evening taking into consideration the length of the chosen pieces and will include only part of the finalists.
JURY
The "Awards Committee", composed by the Chairwoman of the Association and the Artistic Director, decides the assignment of special Awards at the conclusion of the work and possibly after the Gala Concert.

The competitors will be presented in alphabetical order according to a schedule that will be displayed on April 27th 2019 in this site 
The competition organization reserves the possibility to make small changes to the final timetable.Candidates who are already enrolled, whenever they change their calendar, will be notified via e-mail.

Art. 10
By submitting an entry form, each entrant, parent, or legal guardian (if such entrant is a minor) authorizes the use of the competitor's name ,photo, audio and/or video recording for the publicity and advertisement purposes related to the competition by Amigdala International Music Competition. 
If you do not want to authorize this you must make an explicit request on the registration form. The competitors cannot demand any financial claims on Amigdala Cultural Association or on any broadcasting company.

We consider First classified those who will obtain an average score from 95 to 99
We consider Second classified those who will obtain an average score from 90 to 94

All participants will receive a Certificate

PRIZES
The Final Gala
will be held at L. SCIASCIA THEATRE
on Sunday, May 12th, 2019 at 5.00 p.m.
 
All the absolute first winners must be present at the Awarding Ceremony.
The winners chosen to perform their pieces are obliged to perform under penalty of annulment of the award. The same cannot demand any financial claims for their execution and for any possible " Award Concerts".
In the respect of the Music and of the Committee, the candidates are invited to wear appropriate clothing at the Final Gala
Competitors , during their stay, will have pianos to practice.
By entering this competition each entrant, parent or legal guardian (if such entrant is a minor) agrees to accept these rules and be bound by the decisions of Amygdala International Music Competition, its judges and staff, which are final and binding in all matters.
 
 

Art. 12
This cultural event is not comparable to the sweepstakes, as intended by D.P.R.430/2001, art.6 com.1. Therefore, the Resolution n.8/1251 of the 28th October 1976 decides that the prizes will not be income taxed at the source.However,we specify that the final prizes will be added to Your personal income and the winners will have to pay own compulsory contributions on the basis of Your income tax return.
