Thomas Seyboldt

Thomas Seyboldt is a German pianist, song accompanist and university lecturer. He has taught at the University of Music in Karlsruhe since 1990 and has taught at the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart since 2010. In addition, Seyboldt leads a lied class at the Lübeck University of Music and gives interpretation courses in Europe and Asia. As a lied pianist, Seyboldt performed the complete lied oeuvre of Franz Schubert from 1993 to 2001, but he also works with all the major lied composers. He has been the artistic director of the Schubertiade at Ettlingen Castle since 1993. He has worked intensively with the baritone Hans Christoph Begemann for many years. Concert tours have taken Seyboldt through several European countries and to South America.
